The house is situated in an attractive location close to the sea, with plenty of green and flowers. Nearby you can also find a pizzeria, inns, fast food facilities, cafés, grocers', greengrocers', the rental of speedboats, Jet Skis, scooters, bikes, various activities such as water-skiing, jogging at the seaside, tennis, a wellness program, etc.

In the facility we can offer you two apartments for 2 + 1 persons (AP2 + 1), studio apartment for 2 persons and two double rooms with the possibility of using an extra bed.

Apart from that we offer you your own large parking-space, the possibility of dry storage for speedboats throughout the year, your own mooring in front of the house, a storage room close to the sea for storing various equipment for the beach (air-mattresses, deck-chairs, sunshades, skis,...).

We offer day trips by boat.

Rab is the southernmost of the islands in the bay of Kvarner, with a mostly Mediterranean vegetation. When you have left the bare, somewhat savage looking ferry harbour of Mišnjak, the island begins to be seen in a completely different light. The vegetation is luxuriant, and, because of the Mediterranean climate, as well as with the indigenous holm or holly oak, Rab is covered with evergreen forests.

The island of Rab was protected by the gods who placed it in the lee of the Velebit range and in the shelter of Mt Kamenjak. This mountain, which might well arouse misgivings with its bare face turned towards the main highway and the Velebit Channel is in fact a real blessing for the island, for it protects it from the icy blasts of the north-easterly or bura, and has a generally beneficial effect on the climatic conditions.

Rab is an island of sunshine, and this is no more phrase, for according to statistics it has 2,417 hours of sunshine a year. The sun shines on the island in June, July and August ten hours a day.

The first place to greet you after incredibly denuded Misnjak is Barbat. The Barbat people have spontaneously mixed the modern with the traditional, and in private pensions you'll be able to relish meals featuring fish and other sea-food. Many of the people in the village who are in the catering haven't turned their backs on their land, raising sheep, growing crops and grapes and keeping bees. Many of these organic products find their way onto the tables of the guests. And in addition, the proximity of the sea, the many gravel beaches and the safety of the Barbat Channel enclosed by the elongated Dolin Island, attract many visitors, especially wind-surfers and sailors.

Lovers of the antique will be delighted by the remains of the Early Christian church and the Greek fort on the St. Damian hill. When you leave Barbat, you'll take with you the memory of the etheric scents of the immortelle of Barbat, the blue of the sea, and that breath of the past that shimmers in the atmosphere of the whole island.
